Most guests arrive through Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport near Belize City. The arrival process is straightforward, but knowing what to expect makes the day easier.

Collect checked bags before proceeding to customs.
Consider buying preferred U.S. liquor brands before exiting customs.
Proceed through customs with your luggage.
Enter the arrivals area outside customs.
Meet your shuttle driver or rental car provider outside. The domestic flight terminal is next to the immigration exit.
Transportation to Hopkins
Hopkins is located approximately 2 hours south of Belize City. Guests have several transportation options depending on their travel style, budget, and plans while visiting Belize.
Rental Car
We strongly suggest booking your rental car prior to arrival to assure you reserve your vehicle of choice. During peak season, auto availability can be limited.
Private Shuttle
The easiest and most relaxing option. Your driver meets you at the airport and transports you directly to Villa Terrapin Station without the need to navigate unfamiliar roads. If you choose a private shuttle, you should consider renting a golf cart in Hopkins so you can easily get around to experience the sights and sounds of Hopkins Village.
Domestic Flight
Fly from Belize City to Dangriga in approximately 20 minutes, then arrange a short transfer to Hopkins and the villa. A great option for guests wanting to minimize drive time.
Golf Cart Rental
Perfect for guests staying near the beach who want easy transportation into Hopkins Village for restaurants, bars, shopping, and local attractions.
